Touch a Truck

Yesterday I took the kids (and Maddie) to "Touch a Truck" at Nashua High. They got to climb in all sorts of different trucks and talk to a police officer!

On the way in a woman saw me walking with the three of them and said I was "strong". I guess she meant because I had three kids by myself at this event, but honestly, they were GREAT! Very well behaved! Maddie was a super big help as you can see by this picture!

This was the highlight for Parker...



And this, in the back of the police car, was scary for me! Hehe!

Parker modeled his Harley jacket for everyone. He then ran around the house pretending to be driving a Harley. He made everyone follow him at some point. Here's Grampy Billy being a good sport!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
