Cowvirne (Alvirne, for those of you not from Hudson!)

Todd accepted a detail tobabysit the Alvirne Senior Bonfire the other night so the kids and I tagged along.
On the way in we stopped by the barn for a look at the cows.

Then we watched as they set up and started the bonfire.
Parker got to sit on the tractor they used to load up all the wood. The kid running it even started up the engine and let Parker control the lever! He was in HEAVEN!

We left shortly after this picture was taken...


but not before the kids had a chance to boogy to the live band.
Notice the hand on the hip - he takes dancing very seriously!


I love the expression on Sophie's face!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
