Sick Kids, UG!

There's nothing worse than when your babies are sick (well, maybe having to be up all night because of it). Just look at those eyes - she's miserable. But there's nothing cuter than a big brother who wants to cuddle with his sister to make her feel better!
So sweet!

SESAME STREET LIVE!

Sunday afternoon, Parker and I joined Auntie Jessie, Uncle Joey, RJ and Abby for an outing to Lowell to see Sesame Street Live. It was so much fun!
Here are the boys enjoying the ride down.
Parker loved the Disco Ball lighting effects! Here's his initial reaction - when Bert fist came out!
He loved it!

RJ has no problem dancing in public! Parker reserves his moves for at home - like his Mama!

All three kids had a blast, but we didn't quite make it the full 90 minutes. About 30 minutes into it Parker was asking if we could go home. We left after about an hour.
FUN! FUN!

And some cute shots of Sophie:

Fire Fighter's Ball

The fire fighter's ball was this weekend. I know this blog isn't about us, but it's rare to find a good picture of both Todd and me, so I thought I'd share!

The bar we are standing in front of was made by Toby! It's an actual front end of a truck that's (obviously!) out of service! I think we need one in our kitchen! Get on that Toby, would ya! Toby and Petra have some good shots from the party - maybe they'll let me steal some to share with you.

Long Weekends Rule!

especially when we don't have to make them up at the end of the year! Here are some pictures from the weekend -

Here's Parker having, (and I quote), "An important meeting with the animals". He's too funny.

Uncle Adam and Auntie Stefanie came to visit on Sunday. Parker showed off his "working board" that Daddy made for him. He gets to use REAL tools with it! I love that he has to put his boots on before he gets to work!
The other day Parker went poop on the potty (!) so Grammy bought him some big boy underwear - unfortunately, Parker isn't quite ready for them yet, but he (and Sophie) discovered that they fit nicely on their heads....hmmmm???

Parker helped me make a pumpkin ice cream cake. He did a great job mixing the incredients.

Then he did a great job eating large spoonfuls of the ice cream!

At least he shared with Soso!

Just some nice close-up shots of the kids!

Matchbox Paining

Parker wanted to do an art project today so I went online for some inspiration. One site I found suggested giving them a matchbox car to paint with - he loved it!

Just Keeping You Happy!

I know I have been slacking with my posts so here are some random pictures I think are pretty cute...

Here is Soso sucking on her baby's pacifier - hehe
And our pizza picnic we held in our living room! Parker's idea...

And some goop to entertain Parker and Maddie one afternoon - it was a hit!

What's more fun than corn starch and water?

OK, OK, I'm Updating!

Tonight, Parker, Maddie and Sophie (she just has to do what the big kids are doing!) were playing "Queen, Prince and Princess" - I love that they posed for this picture - a rare occasion!

I don't know why but I've been so gung-ho about taking Parker to the mall to ride on the carousel. Last night we went - I needed to do some shopping anyway (I know, shocking). He loved it! I decided we're definitely ready for WDW! After dinner in the food court, Parker spotted the ride on toys (Ok, so we were in Old Navy...). Here he is on Scoop. The best part was that Parker didn't want to leave! He kept asking to go into another store - gotta love that!

While we were gone, Sophie and Daddy had some alone time at home. She insisted on wearing Parker's PJ pants and her sneakers right over her own PJ's! Todd said she was whining until he put them on! (Not so sure what is on the tv screen??)

And I just like this picture of Sophie

What a great week!

Happy New Year!

Stephanie Hoelzel and her kiddos stopped by to have dinner with us - tho I made her fend for herself (real nice). When I went into the living room to check on the kids, this is what I saw...how precious!

Sophia loved Brandon! He was so good at playing with her! They are great kids, those Hoelzels!

Drunkle B and Auntie C came over to celebrate the new year. They are hardcore party animals so we were afraid we wouldn't be able to keep up or entertain them sufficiently. Um...maybe not!

Here are the kids in some of their new clothes - so cute! The outfits may look familiar to Auntie and Auntie Jessie! Hehe

Here are some random pictures from my week off! I SO did not want it to end! I was in complete denial when I had to get up this morning!

We made some cookies...Parker loved the green tongue!
But not as much as he loves his sister - how precious!

We had been trapped in the house for a few days, due to some lovely runny noses and coughing, etc. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and just had to let Parker play outside for a little while. I needed some fresh air too!Poor Sophia really wanted to join us. The poor girl doesn't have any snow attire. She seemed to enjoy watching from the window, thankfully! No snow attire doesn't stop Auntie from taking her out tho - even if she hates it!I did eventually figure something out for Sopie to wear outside. Unfortunately she doesn' t have any boots and the rain boots kept falling off, but she had fun anyway!

Parker and Soso doing the Charleston!

and Jon

Mackenzie joins the fun in the pool.

And Jon...well, he's having the most fun!!

but, WAIT, is that REALLY Parker getting wet?? Will he ACTUALLY go in the pool??

He's getting wetter and wetter!

Here's Brittany swimming!

He DID IT! Parker had SO much fun in the pool - thanks Grammy! Every time Todd tried to get him out Parker said no! He went right in in his clothes and regular diaper! Wait until you see the next picture! YEAH PARKER!

Swimmie (sp?) diapers are a must!

Anthony LaPlante is a real party animal!

I love that Grammy and Sophie are making the same face!

I was very happy that Gabe and Kate made it over! They are having a SUPER good time!

What a precious picture of Sophie and her Auntie!

Brittany and Parker - he loves her!

Mackenzie was trying to get Parker's attention!

Little Jon is trying very hard to teach Sophie how to "high five". She almost got it!

Mackenzie and Sophie - buds! Sophie got very excited every time Mackenzie came by!

Parker was trying to feed Mackenzie all day - BJ got a good picture of Parker "red handed!" I think he's actually trying to steal hers here!

Mackenzie wants that pacifier. Pay attention Sophie!

UM? need I say more?

Parker got new leggos from Mem. He was tired after a long day of partying so he sat here and played for quite a while before bedtime!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMMY! 7/06/07

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMMY! 7/06/07
Parker and Grammy were hiding behind the still unemptied boxes, then popped up and sang "Happy Birthday to You!".

Grampy Bill and Grammy Jane joined the fun!

Grampy Bill and Grammy Jane joined the fun!
Sophie wanted to sing to Grammy too, but this is all she managed!

Harley

Harley
Parker modeled his Harley jacket for everyone. He then ran around the house pretending to be driving a Harley. He made everyone follow him at some point. Here's Grampy Billy being a good sport!

Brendan Visits

Brendan Visits
Brendan stopped by today and helped Parker decorate the driveway for Grammy's birthday!

Parker is sharing his chalk with Drunkle B, how sweet!

I'm sure Grammy will LOVE the drawing of the jeep!

We had a busy day!

We had a busy day!
THE TARRS ARE IN THE HOUSE!!

The kids had a great time despite the rain! Here David is giving Parker a picture he colored for him! How Sweet!

Sarah poses with Sophie! Sarah is a great babysitter! She got Parker to eat much more of his PB&J than I ever can! I told her she should come over every day at lunch!

Is Thomas sleeping? or playing dead? Whatever he's doing, Maddie and Parker are quite entertained!

I think they are up to no good!

Is that Teresa with a coffee?? couldn't be! YA RIGHT! We love our coffee don't we! I can't be too sure what David is doing, but I'm guessing he's singing the "Monkeys"!

There's Nicole tucked away in the background with her foot up - poor thing!

Sophie can do tricks too!

Sophie can do tricks too!
Gee...I wonder where she gets it?? Yes Nicole, her eyes are squinty too...haha!
PARKER AND SOPHIE ENJOY LUNCH TOGETHER!

7/5/07

7/5/07
Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Now, he's shoveling it in!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

Um, it's upside down!

Um, it's upside down!

Haha, I'm so funny!

Haha, I'm so funny!

How precious!

How precious!
Sohpie was refusing to finish the peaches until Parker came along. He was so cute feeding her and she polished off the jar for him!

She's even eating from an empty spoon!

Lunch on the Front Porch

Lunch on the Front Porch
Parker and Maddie enjoying peanut butter and jelly on the new front porch! Doesn't Maddie look thrilled?!?!

Shifty eyed

I think this picture of Parker is too funny! It shows his suspicious side!

We Love Grammy!

What could be better than piling on top of grammy?

Sophie

Sophie
This is a picture of Sophie on the fourth of July! You can't really see the precious dress with the stars on the front but check out those eyes! And those big rosey cheeks! She's wearing her hair in a ponytail for the first time too!

Cowboy Parker

Cowboy Parker
Here is Parker on the Fourth too. He loves Grampy's "Cowboy Hat"! Wish I was doing something a bit more exciting in the background!

Cuddling!

Cuddling!
If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too! They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

More cuddling - in the condo in the lovely basement that Grampy finished! We do miss that playroom but not the couch - sorry Grammy!

Sophie and Mommy

Alright, so I took this picture myself!

Waiting for the train

Waiting for the train
Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!

Here's a picture on the train, minutes before Parker realized he could get up and walk around! Oh boy!

Do you think Parker will be swimming before the end of the summer?
