Last night we went to Grammy and Grampy's to celebrate Grampy's birthday (and mine a tad early). Uncle Adam and Auntie Stefanie came to visit.

Apple Picking
The other day we met Kelly and her girls, Caragh and Caitlin at a farm in Tyngsboro for some apple picking. It was a super hot day and the farm was very crowded but we the kids had fun and it was good to chat with Kelly.

More of my favorite
Poor Sophie, every picture I took with the exception a few, she had boogie nose! Here are more of my favorites from today...
New Format
So I'm trying a new way of adding pictures to the blog that is much faster and easier....I am quite obsessed with a new website - flickr...I can upload pictures to that site, then blog them from there so I am only uploading once. ANYWAY, the point is this...if you click on the photos you will be linked to my flickr page (I believe) and you'll be able to see more there. Give it a try and let me know if it works!

This morning I participated in the GMS Lions Club yard sale. I paid 10 dollars for the spot, bought two items for 3 dollars and come home with 17. Not bad for a few hours. I did, however, get a major sunburn I am not happy about. Serves me right. When I got home I took the kids to the park. As we were leaving, Parker and I spotted this grasshopper on the porch. The poor thing seems to have lost a leg so he was moving quite slowly. Lucky for me because I was able to get a few pictures of him...
We headed to the park near the fire station. It's nice because there's lots of shade and always other kids. Parker met a nice little boy named Aiden (his head seen in this picture). The three kids got along great. Parker was so cute when he introduced himself to Aiden - "Hi, I'm Parker, what's your name?" They were instant friends and he's been talking about him all night! Aiden asked Parker if he wanted to come to his house; it was really cute, but Aiden's mom and I decided maybe we would just meet up there again next Saturday. Fun.
And of course, some of my favorites of the kids...

I love this one...
On the way home Parker asked to stop at Jacob's barn to feed the goats. I was more than happy to because they have so many pumpkins, mums and corn that it would've made for some really nice pictures. I took this one...
And then my battery died! UG! Some other time...

Harley
Parker modeled his Harley jacket for everyone. He then ran around the house pretending to be driving a Harley. He made everyone follow him at some point. Here's Grampy Billy being a good sport!
Brendan Visits
Brendan stopped by today and helped Parker decorate the driveway for Grammy's birthday!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!
More cuddling - in the condo in the lovely basement that Grampy finished! We do miss that playroom but not the couch - sorry Grammy!

Waiting for the train
Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
