New Shoes, Dinner and Missing Mommy

Today I took the kids (with the help of my mom) to get new shoes for them and me! Here are some breakfast pictures.

Sophia insisted on sitting in my chair again, despite the fact that she could barely reach her oatmeal!

We had dinner at Grammy and Grampy's. Diane and Ricky joined us...Sophie doesn't miss out on an opportunity to have her picture taken. It's unfortunate that her face is such a mess because I love this look...


My mother tried to get the kids to have a "Dance Party". It was only mildly successful...
Yes...this is my kids dancing!

I wish I had been video taping because Soso was dancing with those teddy bears and it was the cutest damn thing!

Grammy can boogy!
After dinner, Parker asked if he could sleep over Grammy and Grampy's. He even got cozy on the couch.

Soso too.
But, as I was ready to leave with Sophie, Parker changed his mind. He started to cry saying, "If my mommy leaves without me I'll be sad because I will miss her!" 're talking complete with tears! Does it get any more PRECIOUS than that?!?! So, he came home...

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
