What's the BUZZ??

Parker is enjoying some ice cream because he went PEE ON THE POTTY today! We've been setting an alarm - the "Potty Alarm" (so creative!) - and when Parker hears it (usually every 90 minutes) he knows he has to sit on the potty. This usually works best when Maddie is around because she cheers him on! Today he heard the alarm and called for me. Maddie and I sang a silly pee song and danced a silly dance and lo and behold - HE WENT ON THE POTTY! He was so proud of himself! So, Todd got him and Maddie a bowl of ice cream!

Maddie is giving Parker a high-five for peeing on the potty!


Nicole gave us a bunch of clothes for Sophie today and in the stack was this precious BEE costume. Parker had to try it on - so cute! Todd was outside when we did this so Parker went out front and ran around the yard yelling, "BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ"! It was SO funny! Maybe Parker will have to be a bee for Halloween?!?!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
