Nice Weather, Quiet Day

The weather was perfect today and we had nothing to do! We played outside a lot! Here we all are, taking turns on the swing! The pictures are from my cell phone so they aren't the best quality, sorry.



And here is a picture of the "Parker Express". Parker was the engine, Sophie was a box car and I was the caboose - nice...



Drunkle and Christine came by tonight and we had a chance to test out the party lights. The mosquito magnet is working, but there were still a few too many so we didn't last long. The lights look pretty fun under the "Big Top"!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
