Birthday Cake and more fun!

Sophia will be ONE on December 1st! Because of Todd's schedule and an upcoming trip to Disney (which I STILL don't want to talk about...) we had Sophie's birthday party today! It was a great success! There are so many great pictures! Here's a small sample!

Presents! Look at the beautiful chair that Uncle B and Auntie C brought - C painted it! She's so talented!

I stole Auntie Jessie's idea for the party favors. She did an art project (glitter pumpkins) at Abby's party. I thought an art project was a good idea so we painted ornaments for ours...thanks for yet another good idea Jess! Unfortunately, it wasn't that big of a hit! Oh well!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
