This morning I participated in the GMS Lions Club yard sale. I paid 10 dollars for the spot, bought two items for 3 dollars and come home with 17. Not bad for a few hours. I did, however, get a major sunburn I am not happy about. Serves me right. When I got home I took the kids to the park. As we were leaving, Parker and I spotted this grasshopper on the porch. The poor thing seems to have lost a leg so he was moving quite slowly. Lucky for me because I was able to get a few pictures of him...

We headed to the park near the fire station. It's nice because there's lots of shade and always other kids. Parker met a nice little boy named Aiden (his head seen in this picture). The three kids got along great. Parker was so cute when he introduced himself to Aiden - "Hi, I'm Parker, what's your name?" They were instant friends and he's been talking about him all night! Aiden asked Parker if he wanted to come to his house; it was really cute, but Aiden's mom and I decided maybe we would just meet up there again next Saturday. Fun.

On the way home Parker asked to stop at Jacob's barn to feed the goats. I was more than happy to because they have so many pumpkins, mums and corn that it would've made for some really nice pictures. I took this one...

And then my battery died! UG! Some other time...
