Maddie invited Parker to join her for "Buddy Week"at karate last Friday. I forgot my camera (again!) but took some pictures with my cell phone. Auntie got some better shots with her fancy new camera so I will steal them sooner or later. Anyway...Parker had a pretty good time. Maddie was very good at showing him the ropes. She told him she would explain anything the teacher said that he didn't understand. He, of course, told her he "understands things".
It was really sweet because Maddie was at Parker's side the entire time and Parker kept looking back for mommy! I won't lie - I loved it!
Here he is waving to me - also very sweet! - just to the left of the instructors leg!
Parker did take a couple of breaks. He came running over to me saying, "Everyone is talking at once. It's too loud for me".
He did rejoin the fun and has been talking about it ever since. He starts his own class on Friday!
