It was the inspiration for the theme of Parker's 3rd birthday party.
Everyone joined in the fun...
Parker picked out this "Pirates of the Caribbean" cake from Sam's Club that Grammy and Grampy bought for him - thanks!
They also got him a train table and train set, which he LOVES! Drunkle
and Todd set it up for him in his bedroom and it's the first and last thing he plays with every day!
Todd ordered Parker a very realistic fire fighter costume, which as you can see from his reaction, Parker LOVED!
He wears it everywhere! When he has it on, you must refer to him as "Fire Fighter Berube"! So cute!
Parker loves when people sing "happy birthday". Here's his moment...
Unfortunately Adam and Stefanie couldn't make Parker's birthday party, but they were able to visit today. They bought Parker his first board games!
They even had the patience to try to teach him to play "Chutes and Ladders" and "Candy Land"!
And lastly...potty training. Parker and I had a deal that when the snow was gone from our yard he would stop wearing diapers and wear big boy underwear. He got lots of pairs for birthday gifts and was very excited about them! Today was the day - we officially have no more snow in our yard (thank goodness!) so he wore undies all day! He was very proud to show them off...
Well...5 accidents, 5 pairs of underwear, 5 pairs of pants, and 3 loads of laundry later, he put on a diaper! He didn't quite understand that he had to tell me BEFORE he peed that he had to. I won't give up, but I may wait until April vacation to try again! I do love that picture tho!

parker has more jeep skills than daddy! he thinks the caliper is on the wrong side. that makes no sense!?!
