Easter Weekend

Todd had to work on Easter Sunday, so Mem and Pep came over on Saturday for dinner.
Sunday morning the kids found their Easter baskets and were very excited! Later, Uncle Adam, Auntie Stefanie, and Grammy came over for an Easter egg hunt.

Sunday afternoon the kids and I went to my Aunt Judy's for dinner.
Samantha was sitting on the floor, and Sophia helped herself to sitting on her lap! So cute!Parker was SO excited to go outside and join the kids in some football!

I really did try to get some good pictures of the kids dressed nicely for Easter...it didn't work out too well...


I do think this is a beautiful picture of Sophie tho.

This one was taken in the morning. I was vacuuming (I know, a miracle) and Parker was protecting Soso from the vacuum! What a good big brother!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
