33 Grrrr

My 33rd birthday was September 30th. The day was fairly quiet. Todd went out in the morning and got me a coffee (gotta love that) and donuts for the kids and then we just sort of hung around. BUT...after I got up from my nap...guests started arriving for the SURPRISE party Todd had planned (with the help of some other wonderful folks!). Apparently the plan was to go out and buy a new dining room set, but the kids nap schedule messed that up and instead, I was home when the surprise guests showed up!

I didn't do a good job taking pictures, but here are some of the guests.




Toward the end of the evening...after too much juice, I'd say... Abby starting making the moves on my son! Jessica will tell you otherwise but as you can plainly see from this next picture, she was giving him the "eye".

And...um...opening her mouth! Where'd she learn that?? She was DEFINITELY egging him on!

Parker goes in for the kill... and then... they all (except my good girl, Sophie!) get in on the action...
It was a good time!
I'm thinking Shelby took this one of herself?!?!

Parker had his own lunch but insisted on eating my noodles...love the slurping!

Sohpie is finally eating "real" food. She loves bananas and peaches! I know she looks a little stunned in this picture, but she really does like it! She tried to feed her self, but, as you can see in the next picture, she didn't have much luck!

If Parker wakes up kinda cranky (yes, it does happen!) Sophie can cheer him up without a problem! But he still needs his belly!?! She gets so excited to lay with him, too!They LOVE to cuddle together - it's really very sweet!

Nicole and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Laurie Berkner Band. At this point, watching for the train, they had no idea where we were going. This was our present to Parker for his birthday! He enjoyed the first few songs of the concert, but wanted to get right back on the train! He had so much fun staring out the window! His eyes went kind of crazy trying to watch the trees go by - it was really funny!
